한글학교소개 ABOUT
저희 ‘KWCN 한글학교’는 2022년 3월에 <시카고한국교육원>으로부터 정식으로 인가를 받아서 시작되었습니다. 저희 한글학교는 한국어와 한국문화를 직간접적으로 배울 수 있는 교육을 제공합니다. 특별히, 미국에 사는 한인 자녀들이 한글학교를 통해 한국인으로서의 정체성과 자긍심을 갖게 함으로써 다문화 국가인 미국에서 글로벌 리더십을 자랄 수 있도록 교육합니다. 그리고 한글학교를 통해서 미국에 사는 타민족 사람들에게 한국언어와 한국문화를 소개하고 전하는 중요한 가교 역할도 수행합니다. 매년 봄학기(2월 첫주)와 가을학기(9월 첫주)로 진행되고, 한 학기에 12주간 교육으로 진행됩니다. 관심이 있으신 분은 누구나 환영합니다. 맨 아래 등록안내를 클릭해주세요.
Welcome to our KWNC Korean Language School (KLS). Our school legally obtained a license from the Korean government in March, 2022. Our school offers many opportunities to learn about the Korean language and various Korean cultures. For Korean American kids, the KLS helps them to find their part of the Korean identity and keeps them the mother language. Also for English speaking people, it is a great chance to learn about Korean language and cultures. We have two semesters, the Spring (Feb) and the Fall (Sep), and it goes around 12 weeks. By doing the school activity, we expect that all learners come to read, write and speak Korean fluently or naturally.

한글학교 반편성 CLASSES
씨앗반 1: 주 언어가 한국어, 한글을 시작하는 학생
Seed Class 1: Age 4-6, individuals who mainly speak Korean and have just started learning about Korean.새싹반 1: 주 언어가 한국어 한글을 읽고 쓰는 학생
Sprout Class 1: Age 7-9. Those who mainly speak Korean and know how to read and write.새싹반 2: 주 언어가 한국어 한글을 읽고 쓰는 학생
Sprout Class 2: Age 7-9. People who mainly speak Korean and know how to read and write.열매반 1:주 언어가 한국어, 한글 심화반 학생
Fruit class 1: Age 9-12. Those who speak Korean fluently but want to develop more.열매반 2:주 언어가 한국어, 한글 심화반 학생
Fruit Class 2: Age 9-12. Those who speak Korean fluently but want to develop more.* 회화반: 주 언어가 영어인 학생
Conversation Class for English Speaking People: Adults. Those who mainly speak English.체육활동: 나이 제한 없음
Gym Activities: No age limit.
수업진행 EACH WEEK’S SCHEDULES & ACTIVITIES
* 영어를 사용하시는 분들은 보통 ‘회화반’에서 배우지만, 나머지 기초한글반과 역사반 그리고 체육활동에 함께 참여하실 수 있습니다
English speaking people can take the Conversation Class but can also select optional classes, if interested.
